Property Description
Highly recommended by Lonely planet and other travel guides. Right downtown, it was formerly the home of ex Bolivian President Pando and has been lovingly converted into a beautiful spacious Hostal with a relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff, english spoken.
Tours and excursions can be organised through us if required.

Reviews & Ratings highstakes from Canada stayed here on 20th May 2010 Nice historical building but security is a bit of an issue, people walk in and out without checking and the doors appear quite weak. Good location. I would recommend the hostal but not the sister travel agency. They will tell you want you want to hear to make you buy, even if it means disinformation or complete fabrication | Couple 25-30 | Neil from England stayed here on 10th May 2010 It is a nice place, and having the garden is a big bonus in la paz. The safe situation is annoying, if you put your things in a safe it takes at least half hour to get them out when you want them. one day we had to wait six hours to get them returned. the cafe and free internet are good. was pretty unsociable when we were there, but that was just down to the guests at the time i guess. | | stephengunnell from England stayed here on 19th April 2010 Beautiful old building with a good location right next to Loki and wild rover. The staff are friendly and seem to clean all day long. Only issue is the lack of personal lockers. It's a fairly quiet place but can always be a good place to crash with wild rover 3m away and Loki round the corner. Would stay here again | Male 18-24 |
